Q: Can I use Rose Markers to mark other plants in my garden?
A: Certainly! ANY of the styles and sizes of EON Markers can be used for ANY plant. The designation of "rose marker" was just the name given to that style many years ago and, to avoid confusion, we have just kept it the same.
Back to TopQ: Which marker would be best in my gardens?
A: It is a matter of personal preference and there is no "best" marker. Some prefer the less expensive and less conspicuous swinger marker. Others want the larger writing area of the nursery marker, while others prefer the rose marker which comes already assembled. Many gardeners use one style and size for perennials, another for herbs and still another for spring-flowering bulbs.
Back to TopQ: Are wholesale prices available?
A: We offer wholesale prices to garden-related businesses. There is not a great difference between wholesale and retail prices for small orders, but there are some nice price breaks in larger quantities and some perks the wholesale customers say they appreciate. Wholesale information may be obtained by requesting it on your company letterhead or business card and mailed or faxed to us at (419) 533-6015. A business name, contact person, phone number and tax ID information is required for wholesale purchases and the State of Ohio requires a tax exemption certificate be completed by every wholesale customer and in our files (we will provide the form when a wholesale inquiry is made).
Back to TopQ: I'm still confused. How can I talk with someone about the markers available?
A: If you have questions not answered by our website, just call us and we will do our best to answer them for you. Our business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Ohio time. Our business is located within our residence, so we may be available to answer your call after hours, however, customers calling late at night generally will get an answering machine. The preferred method would be to call during normal business hours -OR- you may e-mail us at any time and we will respond as soon as possible.
Back to TopQ: How are the orders shipped?
A: Most orders are shipped the same day as received unless there is a question or concern with the order. We have daily pickup by UPS and are within walking distance to the post office. Allowing for weekends and holidays, at the very latest, orders are shipped on the next business day.
Back to TopQ: What type of payments do you accept?
A: A payment must accompany each order. We will gladly accept checks, money orders or credit card charges. We accept American Express, Discover, Master Card and Visa credit cards and debit cards may be used on orders mailed, phoned or faxed in, or placed through our secure online store.
Back to TopQ: How long does it take for my order to be shipped?
A: Most order received in the mail (with current prices and without errors) are shipped the same day as we receive them. Please be aware that it can take 5 to 7 days for orders to reach us from anywhere in the United States and allow for holidays and weekends. Orders placed by email or over the phone will ship the same day, providing UPS has not picked up the day's orders. At the latest, orders are shipped on the next business day.
Back to TopQ: Do you sell your customer list?
A: No! We do not give, sell, lease, rent, or otherwise distribute our customer list to any person, any business, or any organization. All information pertaining to our customers is held strictly confidential.
Back to TopQ: Can I get free samples of your markers?
A: We regret that we cannot send free samples of our markers to individuals. Even the minimum rate UPS would charge us to deliver one of each of the styles and sizes of the markers we manufacture is prohibitive for a tiny business like ours. We have tried to make the information in our brochure and web site detailed enough to be helpful in deciding if any of our markers will meet your gardening needs. If you would still like samples we would be glad to ship them to you if you prepay the UPS shipping charge which you may obtain by contacting us. We never charge for the actual marker samples themselves, just the shipping.
Back to TopQ: Do you include a free pen or pencil with each order?
A: No. Our low prices do not permit us to include "frills" of a free pencil and/or fancy packaging. Our customers are very adamant that they prefer the lower prices and their own methods of marking the labels which vary with each individual gardener. We have never found one specific pen or pencil that we could include that would meet everyone's needs. See the section "Marking Your Labels" for more information.
Back to TopQ: My computer will not print the order form and I'd rather not wait to download it, do I need an order form to place an order?
A: No, more than half of the orders we receive each day are handwritten on paper indicating what the customer is ordering and the address to which the order should be shipped. You may write down your order with information from our website and mail it with the payment and we will process it the same as if you mailed us an order form. The options of ordering over the phone or by way of email may expedite the order. You may also order online.
Back to TopSUGGESTIONS:
The label of the C-Series Rose Marker is attached firmly to the wires at the time they are manufactured. However, because many gardeners like to replace labels instead of cleaning old ones, the labels are not permanently attached. Like any other metal, in areas of ranges of temperatures, the metal expands and contracts and, over a period of time, they may loosen. An occasional quick check of the labels as you work around them will let you know if they are loosened. They may be quickly re-crimped on the sides with a pinch using your thumbs or a pair of pliers.
